The suspicion is that the pyramid scheme was used to launder cocaine money. The amazing thing to read about was how many ordinary Colombians, dependent on the scheme for income, were violently upset by the arrest of its founder.
El Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) incluirá la declaración de David Murcia en el proceso de investigación sobre la posible violación de los topes en la financiación del proyecto de referendo reeleccionista. La solicitud de aceptar el testimonio del creador de DMG dentro del proceso la hizo el apoderado de la asociación Colombia Primero, organización integrada por varios de los promotores del referendo investigados.
The National Election Commission (CNE) will include a testimony by David Murcia in its investigation into possible violations by the campaign to reelect Uribe. The request to accept the testimony by the founder of DMG as part of the case came from a representative of Colombia First, an organization to which a number of the referendum advocates under investigation belong.
