The national president of the Workers’ Party,  Rui Falcão, announced today (February 11), that the party will sue former Petrobras manager Pedro Brausco, who accused the finance secretary of our party, João Vaccari Neto, of acting as a go-between in illegal fundraising for the party, without presenting any proof of this accusation.

“We are going to sue this bandido who accuses us without evidence. And this goes for anyone ,and everyone, criminal or not,” said Falcão, who was accompanied by the national communication secretary of the PT, José Américo, and vice-president Alberto Cantalice.

Falcão also said he will submit questions to the leadership of the federal police and the Ministry of Justice regarding the long series of selective leaks directed at the party, with the intention of damaging the PT with [partial, confidential and unconfirmed] information.

The party will also forward a document to the National Council of the Public Ministry in which it will argue for the recusal of the prosecutors involved in the investigation.

OMG. I heard of these pages, but to tell the truth, Facebook only angers and alarms me.

“(They) expressed themselves during the campaign, saying that Aécio was the man and making insulting remarks about Lula and Dilma,” he said. The PT believes the public agents violated their oath of impartiality.

Petrobras and Propaganda

In the meantime, the opposition is asking questions about the use of the Petrobras advertising budget to deliver messages with a political subtext … and they are right. Full of ufanismo. See Petrobras TV Spot on YouTube. Not that the PSDB has not used some clever social media tactics itself.
